– Text: 2 King 7:1 – 20
In this month of high and lifted up, the Lord will pull you out of dungeon in Jesus name, and, He will be your helper in Jesus name.
To be high and lifted up means, to go from a lower level to a very higher position, to move to an unimaginable height and to break all records of lift. In spiritual terms, the lifting up of our Lord Jesus Christ broke all records and principles of lifts. He became elevated above all heights. He made the heavens His home, and the whole earth became His footstool.
Brethren, have you ever thought in your heart how a particular thing would be possible? The message for you is that, you need to wait upon Him, look unto Him, lift up your heads unto Him and He will look down unto you from the heavenly throne, and he will promote you in Jesus name. So, if you have been having sleepless nights because of your academic or job, the Lord is encouraging you to lift up your eyes and head unto Him and He will do you well.
It is very possible to go to bed being a poor man, and, to wake up and find that you have suddenly become blessed and rich. Our God is a God of possibility. He makes things to happen in His own time; how He does it, is nobody’s business.
In 2 Kings 7:1-2 Elisha said, “……About this time tomorrow, a seah of flour will sell for a shekel and two seahs of barley for a shekel at the gate of Samaria.” The officer on whose arm the king was leaning said to the man of God, “Look, even if the LORD should open the floodgates of the heavens, could this happen?” “You will see it with your own eyes,” answered Elisha, “but you will not eat any of it!”
Although, the King had sent for Elisha’s head to be brought down, Elisha was not moved by the threat at all. Rather, he used the opportunity to declare the mind of God to them. Elisha spoke of how the Lord will make situation to change within twenty four hours. I pray that your situation will change for the better within the next twenty four hours in Jesus name.
2 Kings 7:3-8 now there were four men with leprosy at the entrance of the city gate. They said to each other, “Why stay here until we die? If we say, ‘We’ll go into the city’—the famine is there, and we will die. And if we stay here, we will die. So let’s go over to the camp of the Arameans and surrender. If they spare us, we live; if they kill us, then we die.”
So, for your situation to change for the better, you need to understand the following points.
1) Demonstrate absolute faith in everything: If your story must change, you must be ready to face challenges and take tough decisions with faith. You must be a risk taker. The four leprous men were nobody. They were outcasts, lesser people within the society. The laws of the land excluded them, because of their skin disease. So they thought to themselves, why are we sitting here until we die? Brethren, what question are you asking yourself? Enroll in the deep faith of the most high, and begin to fulfill destiny. When you demonstrate absolute faith, the Lord will not let you fall, for He will lift you up beyond unbelief, and do a new thing for you in Jesus’ name.
2) Don’t doubt the power of God to transform you: God is not a magician, but, He created the magicians, and he gave them what they have. So, our God is the God of all nations, and specialises in changing the impossibility to possibility. For you to fulfil destiny, you must constantly belief that He who must come to the Lord must belief that He is… The four men initially did not know what would become of them. However, they took the risk, and went into the City. But when God is ready to transform, He will make everything to come together for your sake. The Lord stirred up their thoughts, and, they unconsciously took a decision to go into the City. The Lord will stir your thoughts and you will begin to see and perceive what the Lord want you to see in Jesus name.
3) God can open all closed doors and windows: Our God can unlock all closed doors and windows. He can open the floodgates of heaven, and pour His blessings upon your life. The Lord opened all closed gates and windows of the city to the leprous men. He sent the Aramean army to run away from the camp when they hear an ordinary sound of chariots. When God is ready to open the closed doors and windows for you, He will begin to make those people who have been standing in your ways to hear strange sounds that will send them packing in Jesus name. You will go in and possess your possession in Jesus name.
“The men who had leprosy reached the edge of the camp and entered one of the tents. They ate and drank, and carried away silver, gold and clothes, and went off and hid them. They returned and entered another tent and took some things from it and hid them also”.
