Small Beginning, by Pastor Victor Olobaniyi
Text: Job 8 vs7, Isaiah 55 vs 4-5.
Although our beginning may be small as it were, but the promise of the good Lord will surely come to pass.
Brethren, starting small is not the problem, remaining small is the concern. Certainly God is interested very much in our growth both Physically and Spiritually as we can read from our text that, Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end will greatly increase.
As long as we do our part of the contract, God has never failed to fulfil His own part, He is ever faithful.
God has promised to increase us individually in the area of our Career, Finances, Health(Divine healing and health),marriage, Academics to mention but a few.
Also God has promised to increase the church numerically and in all ramification, one part we need to play is the area of evangelism and we shall see God in action as He will be adding to His church daily as needed, as He did in the days of the Apostles.
From 3,000 to 5,000 and it came to a time they lost count and they just say multitudes. It is still the same God that is on the throne, and if He can do that in the days of the Apostles, I have no doubt that He can do much more than that in our days.
More so, God Has given us another promise from the book of Isaiah 55:4-5,that our services will comprise of people from various nationalities, and from different part of the country, people will travel from far places just to come and worship with us because of the Lord our God. Wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.Matt 24vs28.
As for Spiritual increments, God has promised us both abundance of the Gifts and the Fruits of the Holy spirit.
In the church, there are abundance of Apostles, Prophets, Evangelist, Pastors and Teachers.
All we need doing is to be obedient and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, and we shall surely get to our destination without much stress.
May Jehovah too much help us and give us the grace to play our own part of the game successfully in Jesus mighty name.
