Setting Up Factors in Divine Establishment – Part 1

By Pastor Aderemi ADELUGBA,
To establish is to set up. Establishment is described as setting up, or starting a particular thing or a project. It can also refer to building, constructing, initiating and installing a structure. For us here at the Everlasting Father’s Arena, York, establishment means our settlement, success, freedom, achievements and breakthrough in Jesus’ name.
Setting a goal in any business or project is very important. This is because, it can help you accomplish a lot, and, can improve your motivation to succeed in what you set out to achieve. The findings of a study carried out in the University of New Hampshire shows that, people who set goals suffer less stress and anxiety, concentrate better, show more self-confidence, perform better and are more satisfied and happy. The outcome of this study does not on its own isolate the issue of stress and anxiety, which if one do not know God, would become a big issue and obstacle in a person’s destiny.
The scripture states in
“Psalm 75:6-7, for promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.  But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another”.
The setting up factor is what we are going to talk about for the next two weeks.
Setting up a secular business would involve the followings: Writing a business Plan, finance the business, recruitment and training of staff, growing the business, marketing and advertisement, and staying on track, evaluation and profit making.
God’s Underwrites His own Plan: The business plan is underwritten by God. He does not need professionals to write His plans for Him.
In Jeremiah 1:4-5, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, And before you were born I consecrated you; I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.”
The Lord told Jeremiah that while he was still in his mother’s womb, that He had called him and appointed him to be a prophet unto nations. This statement to me indicates that the Lord has set you up before anybody could even think about you. So, neither your father nor your mother has anything to do with your setting up. The Lord settled it before you were even born. So, if you are here today and people are reminding you that if not for them you cannot be here, just move on and focus on how the Lord has concluded the matters even before the foundation of the earth. Yes, God did use them to fast track your settlement, yes they encouraged you when you needed encouragement, but His words states, what He say He will do, He will perform in Jesus name.
You are set up for blessings: The purpose of setting up a business is to be blessed, promoted, and be rich. The scripture states in
Proverbs 10:22: “the blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it”.
In the case of Abraham, when God called him, the Lord told him, I will bless you. This means Abraham was rewarded even before he started the business – SET UP. In Gen 12:1-3 states, He will make Abraham great. This means, Abraham received the assurance of prosperity even before the business started. Abraham did not know how to write a business proposal or planning, yet he became blessed. This is simply because the Lord set him up. The “setting up” of the Lord is far better than the human connection and introduction.
Finance Factor: In 2 King 4:1-8, the widow who became the oil baron was set up and financed by the power of the most high. She did not need to write to any bank for a loan. God visited her and established her and her household. This month, the Lord will establish you and finance you in Jesus name. You will not beg for bread in Jesus’ name. The Lord will prosper you.
It is God’s decision; nobody can destroy your set-up: God did not need to call a conference to determine how great you would be in life. He decided your greatness right before your formation. He set you up even before the beginning of the age. So nobody can destroy your set-up unless by your permission through sin. In 1 Samuel 22:1-6 David was hiding in the cave of Adullam. He ran everywhere because Saul wanted to kill his destiny, but God preserved his life. So despite all pursuits, David still became the man God wanted him to be.
Also, in the case of Joseph, the Lord showed him that, he will become a great person, regardless of what enemy does, or what attempt was put together, because the Lord has set him up, he was able to fulfil destiny. You destiny will never be destroyed in Jesus name.
God set up Obededom for prosperity, when Uzzah made a mistake and put his hand in the wrong place.
In 2 Samuel 6: 10-11, “The Ark remained with Obededom for three months before it was carried to the City of David; and God “blessed Obededom and his entire household” and they had good success and prosperity”.
In Esther Chapter 2, when they were looking for the appropriate virgin to become the Queen, God ordained Esther to be Queen even before she was formed in her mother’s womb. Likewise, the Lord has ordained you, and set you up before you were born, and I pray He will give you commission to walk into your destiny.
