By Pastor Aderemi ADELUGBA,
Testimony is simply defined as the evidence of God’s wonder in your life. His wonders are abundant, and the wonders the Lord performed are those things that people would see and begin to ask questions. God is a wonderful God. No one does it the way He does. No one blesses the way He blessed us. I pray that the whole world will hear of the great things the Lord is about to perform in your life, and they would marvel in Jesus name.
Wonders means something that can cause people to be amazed. To arouse awe, astonishment, surprise, or admiration; a marvel: An event inexplicable by the laws of nature; a miracle. Brethren when people around you see the wonders of God in your life, they marvel. Some will give glory to God on your behalf, some will criticise you and some will not agree with that things that the Lord has done for you.
Some of the wonders of God are good health, blessings, promotion, abundance, wealth and joy. I don’t know how much you have seen of the wonders of God, but from today, your testimony will overflow in Jesus name.
Has anything been dead in your life: I bring an assurance to you today, and, the Lord who performed wonders in the life of the dead son of the widow of Nain Luke 7, is still at work, and He will perform wonders in your life and people of this world will hear in Jesus name.
When Wonders is done for you, your life will be attracted to God – The scripture states that they carried the dead man – And much people of the city were with her. When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her. And Jesus Christ came and touched the coffin, and He commanded, young man, I say unto thee, Arise.
I pray that every situation that is dead in you will arise in Jesus name. The scripture states that the rumor went abroad. This suggests that when something marvelous is done in your life, you would not be able to cover it. The Lord will cause His wonders to go abroad.
When Wonders is done for you, Power must change hands: In Luke 8:26-39, when the Lord enters into the Country of the Gaderenes, he met this man with no clothes, no place of abode. The man recognised the supremacy of the Lord. Every situation in your life will recognise God, and they will submit in Jesus name. Verse 34: When they that fed them, saw what was done, they fled, and went and told it to the City and in the Country. God can cause a great amazement that would make your enemy to go wayward. God can gather and assemble your enemy to witness the great things He hath done for you.
In verse 37, when the whole city saw what has happened to them and their city, they were shocked, and besought the Lord to depart from them, for they were taken with great fear. Verse 39: They published the amazing testimony.
When Wonders is done, there is recognition of God’s power: Elijah did not have to struggle in the book of 1 King 18. First, God said, yes, I am ready to amaze that guy called Ahab. Now go back because I am ready to pour down rain. Yes He met Obadiah – Governor. He sent him.
Elijah asked him to assemble all his prophets and gods.
1 King 18:22-37
Hear me O Lord, that these people may know that you art the Lord. In Verse 36: He called upon the God of Abraham, Isaac and God of Israel. And fire fell to consume the log of woods, stones and the trench, and the water that was in the trench was all consumed.
READ – in verse 39 – When all the people saw it they fell on their faces, and they said the Lord is the Lord God indeed.
