Fulfilling the plan of God, Pastor Aderemi ADELUGBA
Brethren, in this month of revisiting foundations and destiny, it is my prayer that things would begin to work for you in Jesus name. When you revisit your foundation, you are taking the opportunity to work on forgotten promises, and challenge those things that have tied your destiny down. By the grace of God, your long held promises would be released to you in Jesus name, and it shall be well with you – Isaiah 3:10 – “Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, For they shall eat the fruit of their doings
In order to become the person God wants you to be, you need Him. Acts 17:28 – For in Him we live, and move, and have our being.
In Joshua 1:1-7, After the death of Moses the servant of the Lord, the Lord said to Joshua son of Nun, Moses’ minister,2 Moses My servant is dead. So now arise [take his place], go over this Jordan, you and all this people, into the land which I am giving to them, the Israelites.3 Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses. 4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast. 5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
Hebrew 12:1 explains that there is a race set before us, and we must run the race with focus, with patience, with the grace of God, and when we do that we would be able to achieve greater fulfilment in Jesus name.
In the case of Joshua, the Lord knew him, and ordained him to become a great leader. But the scripture made us to see that Joshua rose to the position of importance in the land. He became a force to reckon with, and stepped into success by the power of God. Whatever the story of your life and the circumstances of your birth, the Lord will turn it around for success in Jesus name. Despite his background, Joshua’s life was filled with remarkable achievement and great success. This gives me an assurance that your life will be marked with unlimited achievement, and regardless of how the story of your beginning has been, you will become a celebrity in Jesus name.
Brethren, there are some things that made the life of Joshua to get transformed. When you begin to do what he did, your life will become transformed too, and you will step into your success in Jesus name.
To make you step into your success in the area of business: In Luke 5: 1–7, we read about how Simon was engaged in the wrong business. He was a trained fisherman; he was so knowledgeable in his trade, and, truly, he had some superficial success. After that, he got to a stage where he almost declares himself bankrupt, but the Lord located him in his struggle. He was already packing his nets and looking to find another trade, when he met with the Lord. After this, he caught fishes like never before. The Lord will locate you in every struggle today in Jesus name.
To give you fulfilment in all of your endeavours: There are times in our life when we become so overwhelm by what the situation is thrown at us, but guess what, it is not of him that willeth or of him that runneth,
To make you step into your success in the area of faith: In Isaiah 54:14 – Isaiah 54 14 In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.
To proeper in that journey, not for you to die in the journey: In Genesis 11:31 -32: And Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran his son’s son, and Sarai his daughter in law, his son Abram’s wife; and they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there. 32 And the days of Terah were two hundred and five years: and Terah died in Haran. Terah started a journey; he had big plans and aspirations. His initial plan was to go from Ur of the Chaldees, and go to the land of Canaan. He took all his family members with him. But guess what? Terah got to Haran and stopped there. Terah’s destination was Canaan, but the bible states, and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there, and he died there.
Success in the area of wealth: In Deuteronomy 8:18:“But thou shall remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.” There are things you do now, jobs you do and business you do, that you don’t really like. But by the power of the most high, your situation will change.
For you to achieve greatest success and accomplishment in life; you must be prepared to do the following the following:
He who must achieve greater success must learn to TRUST IN THE LORD and have an unwavering loyalty to Him Ps 37:3 – Delight thyself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of thine heart. David was anointed the king by Samuel 1 Samuel 16:13. Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers.
You must begin to commit yourself unto him: How much faith have you demonstrated in the area of your life? Think of Hannah, she cried to the Lord in faith, and the Lord answered her request.
He who must achieve greater success must STOP DOUBTING. In 2 King 4:8-17 regarding the barren woman.
Have strength and courageous – God told Joshua that he needed to be courageous, to be able to deliver the new assignment that was given to him after the death of Moses. He embraced it, and with all courage, he became successful, and the Lord was with him. The Lord will continue to be with you in Jesus name. Without courage, it would be impossible to accomplish those things that the Lord has spoken concerning issues.
