Hallelujah (Worship), Formidable Weapon of Deliverance, by Pastor Victor Olobaniyi
Hallelujah is defined as an expression of worship or an expression of rejoicing.
Hallelujah is a Hebrew word meaning Praise YAH(Yahweh or Jehovah) which are the names of God.
When you engaged in the act of true worship to God, something is bound to happen, the good happens to His children and judgement to His enemies which are also the enemies of His children.
To have a very cheap and easy deliverance from God, just engaged yourself in the act of true and genuine worship.
Let us consider some examples of people in the scriptures that engaged in worship and these deliver victories unto them on the platter of gold.
Out of the ten lepers that Jesus healed in Luke 17 vs 11 – 1, only the one that came back to worship Him was the one that was made whole. He was delivered, he received total cleansing.
When the children of Isreal engaged in worshipping God, in Joshua 6, the walls of Jericho fell flat before them and they became very rich due to the spoil they got from Jericho.
Due to the act of worship that Jonah exercised himself in the belly of the fish in Jonah 2 vs1 – 10, God delivered him from death.
King Jehoshaphat was delivered from all the countries that were against him, without lifting up his hand to fight any of them as the Lord fought on their behalf and hand over to them, the wealth of those countries that it took them three days to gather.2 Chronicles 20.
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego receive total deliverance and victory from the hand of King Nebuchadnezzar when they worshipped God in the book of Daniel 3.
King Nebuchadnezzar was restored back as a human being when he engaged in worshipping the Lord. Daniel 4 vs 34 – 37.
The mad man of Gadara was delivered completely when he went to bow(an act of worship) before Jesus in the book of Mark 5 vs 1 – 16.
Paul and Silas received total deliverance from execution and death as they worshipped the Lord in the prisons. Acts 16 vs 25 – 34.
True worship exposes us to all sort of Deliverances, Victories, Salvations, Favour and all type of miracles and testimonies.
My prayer is that may the good Lord give us the grace to always worship Him in truth and spirit, so as to be able to benefit from the blessings that are associated with worshipping Him. (Amen).
