Time Up! by Pastor Akinkunmi Thomas

Time up could mean, Enough is enough, Red card to the enemy, I can’t continue like this or with this unpleasantness.
Exodus 3:7-10
Exodus3:7 And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;
Exodus3:8 And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
Exodus3:9 Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel has come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.
Exodus3:10 Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.
Exodus5:1 And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness.
Exodus10:1 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh: for I have hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants, that I might shew these my signs before him:
Exodus10:2 And that thou mayest tell in the ears of thy son, and of thy son’s son, what things I have wrought in Egypt, and my signs which I have done among them; that ye may know how that I am the LORD.
Exodus10:3 And Moses and Aaron came in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, How long wilt thou refuse to humble thyself before me? let my people go, that they may serve me.
Exodus 10:4. Else, if thou refuse to let my people go, behold, to morrow will I bring the locusts into thy coast:

Deut. 1:1-8.
Deut.1:1 These be the words which Moses spake unto all Israel on this side Jordan in the wilderness, in the plain over against the Red sea, between Paran, and Tophel, and Laban, and Hazeroth, and Dizahab.
Deut.1:2 (There are eleven days’ journey from Horeb by the way of mount Seir unto Kadeshbarnea.)
Deut.1:3 And it came to pass in the fortieth year, in the eleventh month, on the first day of the month, that Moses spake unto the children of Israel, according unto all that the LORD had given him in commandment unto them;
Deut.1:4 After he had slain Sihon the king of the Amorites, which dwelt in Heshbon, and Og the king of Bashan, which dwelt at Astaroth in Edrei:
Deut.1:5 On this side Jordan, in the land of Moab, began Moses to declare this law, saying,
Deut.1:6 The LORD our God spake unto us in Horeb, saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this mount:
Deut.1:7 Turn you, and take your journey, and go to the mount of the Amorites, and unto all the places nigh thereunto, in the plain, in the hills, and in the vale, and in the south, and by the sea side, to the land of the Canaanites, and unto Lebanon, unto the great river, the river Euphrates.
Deut.1:8 Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give unto them and to their seed after them.
Any faith that puts all the responsibilities on God is an irresponsible faith that will be fruitless.
Deut. 30:19.
God’s promises are great, unstoppable but it’s our responsibility to enforce what God has promised.
God has promised to take them to Canaan but they’ve got to make up their minds to face all the challenges on the way to Canaan..

1. Turn v7. Until you turn it can’t be your turn to shine and overcome.
Until you turn you remain stagnant.
To turns means taking conscious and calculated steps that will move you to the next level.
To be bold enough to make that move and take that step.
Tell my children to go forward.
Until you go forward your life won’t go forward. Exodus 14:15.
Stop that pity party and liberate yourself from stagnation. It’s not a time to cry but a time of positive moves and steps.
Jesus said to Peter launch out into the deep and let down your net for a draught.Luke 5:4
Jn. 2:1-10. At the marriage in Cana of Galilee He said fill thewaterpots with water and draw it and bear unto the governor of the feast and they had a better wine.
Jer. 3:14 Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:
Jer. 25:5 They said, Turn ye again now every one from his evil way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that the LORD hath given unto you and to your fathers for ever and ever:
Lam. 3:40 Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD.
Zech. 1:3 Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the LORD of hosts.
Zech. 1:4 Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets have cried, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings: but they did not hear, nor hearken unto me, saith the LORD

2. Take your journeyv7. Exercise your faith to do the unimaginable.
Don’t be moved by what you lack, nor by what you hear, neither by what you see.
Peter walked on water.
Moses and Aaron risked their lives by continuously going to a wicked king and made demands of their freedom.
Don’t allow fear to stifle your destiny, never live in fear if you desire to be great

3. Get ready for more challengesv7 and go to the mount of the Amorites, and unto all the places nigh thereunto, in the plain, in the hills, and in the vale, and in the south, and by the sea side, to the land of the Canaanites, and unto Lebanon, unto the great river, the river Euphrates.

Expect more mountains to overcome, more hills to climb, more valleys to exalt.
Never think that to possess your possession will be cheap and easy.
4. Confront your challenge. Never complain about Whatever you permit because whatever you permit grows.
God said to Moses I am sending you to confront Pharaoh and demand for your freedom.
Life will not give you what you deserve but what you demand.

Matthew 18:18-19(AMP)
18 I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whatever you bind [forbid, declare to be improper and unlawful] on earth [a]shall have [already] been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose [permit, declare lawful] on earth [b]shall have [already] been loosed in heaven.

19 “Again I say to you, that if two [c]believers on earth agree [that is, are of one mind, in harmony] about anything that they ask [within the will of God], it will be done for them by My Father in heaven

5. Visualise your desire v8 Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land.
What you can’t see you won’t handle. You can’t see the wind that’s why you can’t handle it.
What you perceive in your mind, control and dominate your thoughts.
Your vision is the platform that determines your achievements.

When you see victory you become victorious.

When you see poverty you become poor.

When you see barreness you become barren.

Guard your heart with all diligence out it are the issues of life.

Pro.4:23-27 (AMP)
23. Watch over your heart with all diligence,For from it flow the springs of life.
24. Put away from you a deceitful (lying, misleading) mouth,
And put devious lips far from you.
25. Let your eyes look directly ahead [toward the path of moral courage]
And let your gaze be fixed straight in front of you [toward the path of integrity].
26. Consider well and watch carefully the path of your feet,
And all your ways will be steadfast and sure.
27. Do not turn away to the right nor to the left [where evil may lurk];Turn your foot from [the path of] evil.
