The Unlimited God, by Deaconess Tinkuma Ejovi

Many people have unconsciously placed a limit on God, who He is, and what He’s capable of doing. Notice what Psalm 90:2 says about His illimitable personality: from everlasting to everlasting, He’s God. That means both in the dateless past, and in the dateless future, He is God. Isn’t that amazing? No wonder the human mind can’t easily grasp things about Him. The Bible says in Isaiah 40:28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.

What is your attitude to God and His Word?
1 Corinthians 2:14 says, “But the natural man receive not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” For example, there’re those who question the virgin birth of the Lord Jesus. They even say, “How can God, who is neither a woman nor a man, have a son?” When you ask such questions, you’re relegating God to the realms of ordinary human beings, and some biological processes. Come on! He’s God! He exists in a far much higher dimension than the realm of man.

Don’t live your life according to speculations and theories of men; there’s a higher knowledge. Follow the Word. I love a particular man of God for what he said concerning the word of God and I quote him – All you ever need in life are wrapped up in the word, go for it and when you get a hold of it, keep on saying it, don’t stop saying it, In the city of Ephesus so mightily grew the word of God and prevailed. Why? Because the word of God which is God Himself is Spirit and life, He is unlimited and has the ability to grow and prevail. God isn’t a man, and He’s not restricted by man’s limitations. He’s God Almighty (see Matthew 19:26; Jeremiah 32:17).

God is completely unlimited
He is totally unlimited. For instance, He is unlimited in power (Psalm 62:11) and no situation can limit Him. Jesus speaking in Matthew 28:18 says, “all power in heaven and on earth has been given unto me.” He is also unlimited in resources because according to Genesis 17:1 He is the all-sufficient one, in Psalm 24:1 the bible says the earth is the Lord and the fullness thereof. In Haggai 2:8 the bible says silver and gold belongs to Him. In 1 king17:2- 6, He sent ravens to take bread and meat to his prophet. I see that God putting an end to lack in your life in Jesus name, Amen!

What should be your attitude?
Trust Him and you’ll be blessed. Emulate Mary the mother of Jesus (Luke 1:38). Mary believed the Word even though there was no precedent. What a faith in God!

Hold on to God and His word, you will never be disappointed.
