The God of Superabundance, by Pastor Victor Olobaniyi

TEXT : Psalm23 vs 5b; Joel 2 vs 24; Mal 3 vs 10; Matt 14 vs 20; Lk 6 vs 38.
As we know that this is our month of Overflowing Abundance, it may be necessary to know that, He that gave us the promise Himself is the God of super-abundance.

He promised us overflowing abundance in all areas of our life, both physically and Spiritually.

We may have to study this in series.
Abundance by definition means a situation where there is more than enough of something, extremely plentiful or over sufficient quantity or supply, affluence ;wealth; overflowing fullness, to mention but a few.

In the Bible we shall look at some example of physical abundance (supplies) that was furnished in the time of need.
In the wilderness, the children of Israel experience the overflowing abundance of God through the God of superabundance. Deut 2 vs 7

Looking at Elijah in the time of famine 1 King 17 vs 6,16; and in the wilderness in 1 King 19 vs 6.
The widow in 2 King 4 vs 6.
The famine in Samaria 2 kings 7 vs 18.
For all believers in Phil 4 vs 9.

It may be necessary to be aware that for there to be harvest time there precedes it a seed or sowing time.
Some saying are very true like, it is your given that determine your income, the work you are doing is just to provide you enough seed for your harvest, your giving precedes your superabundance, sow time comes before harvest time. Gen 8 vs 22.

God was the first to practise this again and again, even to the New Testament in John 3 vs 16. For God so loved the world that He gave (all he had)His only begotten Son. This giving of God got God the harvest of mankind.

In the days of Jesus in Matt 14 vs17, 20-21 a boy surrender his lunch of five loaves of bread and two fishes which was acted upon by the God of abundance and this fed 5,000 men not including women and children.

To be continued.
