Secrets/Keys To Continuous Rejoicing (2), by Pastor Victor Olobaniyi

TEXT : Phil 4;4, Romans 12:12.
WE looked at the definitions of Continuous and Rejoicing last week and we said we shall be considering the secrets/keys to continuous rejoicing today, we pray that the rehma of God’s word will locate us today as usual in Jesus mighty name. (Amen).

One of the secret or Key to our continuous rejoicing is, Trust in the Almighty God. Jeremiah 17:7, Psalms 37:3 and 5; 118: 8,Isaiah 26: 4.
Beyond reasonable doubt it is established that if you put your trust in the Almighty God we will never be disappointed. So for you to continuously keep your joy, it is advisable to commit it into the hands of your creator that knows the end of you and created you from the beginning.

Another Secret for keeping your Joy is, Praising the Lord. Psalm 147:1, 33:1,9: 1 , 2 Chronicles 20:22 – 25.
When you praise God for what He has done for you already, what He is doing currently, He is committed to helping you in retaining the joy by constantly given you the reason to continuously praise Him.

He is God that the bible says, He inhabits the praise of His people. When you praise Him, He will always raise you, and fight all your battles for you and give you victory that is unbelievable as He did for Jehoshaphat in the books of 2 Chronicle 20:22- 25.

The bible records that the spoil they got from the battle that God fought for them they were gathering them for good three days, what a mighty God we serve.

The third Secret we shall be considering is Thanksgiving to God. Psalm 136:1, 107:1; 92:1; 50:14, Col 3:17 Ephesians 5:20, 1 Chronicles 16:8,1 Thessalonians 5:18; 1 Timothy 4: 4.

When you give thanks for what someone has done for you, you are preparing the ground for another gift, which is a natural reciprocating act.

So a wise person that wants continuous blessings will always give thanks for whatever blessings he or she has received so far.
So in other to keep your Joy sustained, continuous thanksgiving to God is very paramount and that will put you in God’s favourite side, as He will sees you as a child that appreciate what has be done for you.

My prayer is that may the good Lord give us the grace to tap into these secrets, so as to retain our Joy for the rest of our lives in Jesus name. Stay blessed.
